Well…. It has happened.
Thanks to an “Obama Appointed” Judge, Sharon Johnson Coleman, gun control has been COMPLETLEY thrown out the window.
The backstory:
A man in Chicago was “caught” possessing an “illegal” firearm during civil unrest in 2020.
In Illinois, people are required to obtain permission and receive government approval to purchase a handgun. The FOID (Firearms Owner’s Identification) card must be obtained from the Illinois State Police.
To obtain a concealed carry license in Illinois, you are required to take a state approved concealed carry course that consists of a minimum of 16 hours of instruction.
The Judge stated that the man (even though he had no FOID card, or concealed carry license) “has never been convicted of a felony, a violent crime, or a crime involving the use of a weapon. Even in the present case, (the defendant) contends that he received and used the handgun solely for self-protection and protection of property during a time of documented civil unrest in the Spring of 2020”.
The judge further stated:
“The Court finds that (the defendant’s) criminal record, containing no improper use of a weapon, as well as the non-violent circumstances of his arrest do not support a finding that he poses a risk to public safety such that he cannot be trusted to use a weapon responsibly and should be deprived of his Second Amendment right to bear arms in self-defense.”
On its face this sounds wonderful! By this standard, anyone who is non-violent poses no safety risk to public safety therefore should not be deprived of their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms for self-defense.
It could be argued that in one swoop, this judge has invalidated the Illinois Public Safety (430 ILCS 66/) Firearm Concealed Carry Act.
It would appear that this judge agrees with these statements:
The 2A is MY carry permit!
The 2A is my FOID card!
The 2A is my license!
But wait a minute…….
The man in question, Heriberto Carbajal-Flores, is an illegal immigrant! He is not a citizen. YET, this judge is saying that he is entitled to the protections provided by the Constitution.
The right to self-protection is natural born, God given and self-evident.
ALL creatures have the right to protect themselves. The Constitution (Bill of Rights 2nd Amendment) does NOT grant this right, it RESTRICTS the government from restricting, limiting, or infringing that right.
I would venture a guess that although this decision was likely politically motivated to empower the illegal immigrant population, this judge kinda got it right. I suggest that this Sharon Johnson Coleman’s decision be used in arguments moving forward when the courts analyze the government’s overreach into our “self-defense” lives.
I believe that the founders intended for the Bill of Rights, certainly the 2A, to apply to all people who live on the soil. There have always been non-citizens living in the United States.
TODAY, however, there most certainly appears to be a concerted effort by the Executive Branch to flood the country with more illegal immigrants than EVER before. This should concern ALL of us.
Recently in El Paso, Texas illegal immigrants rushed border patrols and broke down fences. Seems kinda “insurrection-y” to me.
The irony of this situation is pretty ironic.
On one hand we have an Obama Appointed Judge saying that 2A protections apply to illegal immigrants, but many democratic controlled states are saying that millions of LEGAL immigrants, natural born citizens, and naturalized citizens of the United States of America are not able to keep and bear arms for self-defense without the express written consent and approval from the government.
I would be curious if Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman would have ruled the same way if the defendant was a natural born US citizen? Would she have ruled differently if it were YOU or me? You can read Judge Coleman’s ruling by clicking here.
FOAC-Institute is a single-issue organization…Well…kinda.
We are primarily a “pro-gun” organization, but we are also an anti-crime organization. As FOAC-Institute President, Jim Stoker, has stated, the “crime” we typically fight is when elected officials violate the Constitution. However, with the MASSIVE invasion of military age illegal immigrants flooding the border, and with the Chief Executive giving them t-shirts, medical care, vaccines, housing, food, and now perhaps guns…we are very concerned about the future of our nation, the commonwealth, and our communities. Strangely enough, the controlling party wants YOU to get government approval to exercise your right to self-defense through background checks, permits, licenses, review boards, mandatory training, etc…but they are vehemently against people producing identification to vote. Interesting…you gotta wonder what is their endgame???
Americanism should not be a partisan issue. Democrats, Republicans, Greens, Libertarians, Radical Constitutionalists, and Bull Moose should all agree on one thing…the health, strength, and safety of our country. However, when you look at the controlling party, one must ask…who are they working for? I have written about this at length in the past. As a kid, the Dems and Republicans, Ralph Nader, and Ross Perot all have very very different ideas about the best way to conduct “business” in the US but I don’t believe any of them wanted to destroy the country.
What the F&%K is going on with the Biden administration???
The Biden administration (and subsequent splinter state and local level regimes) is downright hostile against law abiding Americans who seek to be self-sufficient.
They are attacking us financially by destroying the economy and taxing the middle class into oblivion. Let me ask you…are you paying more or less “success fines” (taxes) since this regime took power? They are actively waging war on small businesses (FFLs) and encouraging unjust lawsuits against firearm manufacturers, while seeking new and creative ways to ban your property, demonize you for arming yourself to protect your family from criminals, and restrict and abolish your means to obtain “arms” for self-protection.
I’ve said it once and I will say it again…Who are these people working for? Who do they represent? It ain’t me? It probably ain’t you.
In the meantime, get ready.
I know not what is in store for us. We are facing a federal presidential election that is a rematch of 2020…you remember how well that went. Although our State-level races are more important to our immediate well-being, the 2024 matchup is checkmate for our national wellness. If one wins… ½ of the population will likely go “apeshit”. If the other wins... ½ of the population will likely go “apeshit”.
The questions that I leave you with are:
Stay FROSTY…pay attention…Get EVERYONE in your sphere of influence to the polls and VOTE for pro-gun candidates!

House Bill 777 is on the schedule to be brought to the floor for a vote TOMORROW (Tuesday March 26th, 2024).
HB777 is titled "Banning Ghost Gun Parts", but what it really does it attack our inalienable rights to privately manufacture firearms to protect ourselves and our loved ones. This tyranny attacks everything from commonly purchased AR-15 components to fuel and oil filters we use for our automobiles. You read that right! They actually put a section in there to require serial numbers and regulate sales of components that could be used as "silencer frames". That would have to include certain models of fuel and oil filters as they are commonly used to LEGALLY manufacture solvent traps or even privately manufactured and lawfully registered silencers. Please see the attached position paper written in October regarding private manufacture of firearms if you would like to brush up on your own knowledge for this fight.
When will government stop infringing upon the 2nd Amendment? Only when we vote the wanna-be tyrants out of office. "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." ~ Benjamin Franklin. We continue to see efforts by under-informed legislators to take away our God-given and natural rights. Rights the 2nd Amendment tells government they may exert no power over. We continue to see legislators IGNORE their oath to support and defend the Constitutions of these United States and this Commonwealth.
This is a CALL TO ACTION!
This bill will be presented on the House floor this week! If each and every one of us makes just a few phone calls every day this week, we can express to those tyrants that this conduct will not be tolerated. I've provided phone numbers for the tyrants in chief in the halls of the State Capitol so you can dial them every single day to express THE RIGHT OF THE CITIZENS TO BEAR ARMS IN DEFENSE OF THEMSELVES AND THE STATE SHALL NOT BE QUESTIONED!
Call these legislators every day and tell them not to run HOUSE BILL 777.

There is much we still don’t know about the Moscow concert attack.
What we do know is that at least 137 people (at the time of this writing) lost their lives on Friday, March 22, 2024. Four men, reportedly armed with guns, knives and bombs attacked attendees at a concert hall in Russia’s capital city.

The bash was a tremendous success. Over 1000’s Americans fellowshipped together to and celebrated our self-evident natural born rights and enjoyed the afternoon with great food, fun, and guns!
The bash(s) are our main fundraiser, and they help us afford to take the fight to the courts and take the “show on the road” to educate our fellow Pennsylvanians.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends………
Shakespeare may have visualized another “battle” when he wrote those words, but these words are quite appropriate today as once more we face a battle against tyranny in the halls of the Pennsylvania Capitol.
As I read the words in HB777 and try to see the viewpoint of “the other side”. I set aside my opinions, and play devil’s advocate. For a moment, I try to analyze the bill giving the author the benefit of the doubt. As I read the words, I try to interpret them in the context of good intent with a goal towards “safety” and “helping people”. At the conclusion of this thought experiment, I can only see misguided ignorance, folly, and willful naiveté. I honestly find no value and see zero efficacy for the purpose of saving lives or stopping crime within the text of HB777.
If saving lives, protecting constituents, and stopping crime is the outcome goal; the author(s) and supporters of HB777 are barking up the wrong tree.
So why in the hell would an intelligent adult support something as poorly worded or misguided as HB777?
It clearly has no value. You don’t have to be a firearms expert to see the folly in this legislation.
One reason a representative might support HB777, is that they are doing work for the sake of doing work. Many representatives in full-time legislatures feel the need to justify their existence by passing laws for the sake of passing laws. “Hey, look at all the votes I cast on your behalf… woo hoo… working hard at the Capitol.”
Another reason might be that they are DOING “something” that makes them feel good about the fact that they DID “something”. They can go back to their campaign donors and say, “I did ‘something’ when others only offered ‘thoughts and prayers’.”
Unfortunately, many in the elected class are using bills like HB777 to oppress the people under the guise of the theatre of health and safety. They are chipping away at the self-sufficiency of the citizenry using fear and emotion. They avoid fact, logic, science, and real solutions so that they can support a nationwide push to turn free citizens into subjects.
They demonize and penalize anyone who takes on the responsibility to protect themselves and those that they love. They demonize and penalize anyone who takes on the responsibility to work hard to provide for themselves and those that they love by being financially successful and independent. They demonize and penalize anyone who takes on the responsibility to exercise their God given, natural born, and self-evident rights.
These people will say nothing when questioned about their actions.
When an elected official says nothing and cannot articulate why they voted the way they did… ASSUME THE WORST!
As a true representative of “The People” you are either for the individual citizen’s rights and liberties or you are not. Elected officials are either for the unrestricted free exercise of the rights and liberties of their constituents or they are not.
The moment an elected official pick or chooses your rights and liberties…. They are exercising tyranny.
Let your “representatives” know that if they truly want to stop crime, help people, and save lives, they should empower the people to exercise their rights!
Article 1 of the PA Constitution (DECLARATION OF RIGHTS) and the (BILL OF RIGHTS) of the U.S. Constitution restrict THE GOVERNMENT from infringing upon your rights.
Let your “representatives” know that if they truly want to stop crime, help people, and save lives, they should stop supporting policies and politicians that empower criminals. Hold ACTUAL criminals accountable for breaking laws. Use the laws that already exist to prosecute those criminals and STOP harassing law-abiding citizens.
If your representative supports HB777…. Ask them flat out:
Are you trying to justify your existence as a representative? Are you naïve and ignorant? Or are you trying to restrict and infringe upon my rights and liberties?
The way I see it… if they support HB777, it can only be one of the three.
