Gun manufacturers NOT selling to anti gun States police agencies grow to 44 companies :: 03/30/2014

"The list of companies that have stopped selling firearms and ammunition to law enforcement agencies in states that are restricting the Second Amendment has more than doubled since Wednesday and is more than five times larger than just one week ago . There are 44 companies on our list, with more being added as we receive notification."

Spring Gun Bash 2014/Second Amendment Rally :: 03/30/2014

Bravo to all of you who braved lousy weather, poor driving conditions, and a really dreary day to come to FOAC's Spring Gun Bash. We don't have a firm count, but best guesses are that nearly 1,000 hardy souls showed up. We tried not to disappoint with our selection of firearms, and you responded by buying tickets at such a rapid pace, we had to call in the reinforcements to keep up with the record keeping.

He managed to jump up and run away when he heard police coming, but was quickly apprehended. "The congregation at Grace Baptist Church in Troy, N.Y., doubled in size Sunday as parishioners, locals and visitors from locations as far as New York City assembled to find out who won an AR-15 in the culmination of a controversial firearm raffle. In addition to announcing the winner, the Rev. John Koletas, the pastor at Grace Baptist Church, made another proclamation that will likely draw additional ire from gun control advocates. He said that a second AR-15 will be awarded Monday evening."

"The number of firearms licenses issued by the sheriff's offices in Washington and Greene counties has doubled over a two-year period and a handful of potential gun purchasers cited personal safety as the reason why they carry concealed weapons. Being in office for less than three months, Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant was reluctant to speculate on why the number of applications to carry concealed weapons jumped considerably from 2011 to 2013. "I am not sure why, but everyone who is approved through the application process has the right to own or carry a firearm," he said."

Hawaii is now a "Shall Issue" State :: 03/21/2014

"The Peruta dominos continue to fall. In an earlier decision in Baker v Kealoha, a District Court refused to rule in favor of the plaintiff, Christopher Baker. Baker had moved for an injunction against various Hawaii state agencies that had denied him a carry license. As a Ninth Circuit panel summed up the District Court's rationale, the District Court denied the motion because, "Bakerwas not likely to establish that Hawaii's restrictions on carrying firearms in public were unconstitutional under the Second Amendment, and therefore, Baker was not likely to succeed onthe merits." But that was pre-Peruta . . ."
