Biden's Gun Control Law Will Radically Change U.S. Gun Ownership :: 10/05/2023

President Joe Biden keeps telling Americans that the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA), the gun control bill he signed last year, is the most significant gun control legislative accomplishment in nearly 30 years. He is right, but it will do nothing to improve safety. The innocuous-sounding BSCA will radically change gun ownership.

Kids and Guns: Protecting Our Children - Gun Safety, Violence And Gun Control :: 10/05/2023

The most malicious claim against law-abiding gun owners is that we care more about guns than we do about protecting children. I am fed up with being painted as a monster. Second Amendment advocates fight for gun rights because we care about kids, and I am about to explain why demonizing gun rights in the name of child safety is a foul.

Throw the Book at 'Em: Existing Gun Laws are Vastly Underutilized to Help Curb Violent Crime :: 10/04/2023

If you take the anti-gun advocates at their word, they care about preventing tragedies like the murders at Sandy Hook and Uvalde and mass attacks like the one that occurred in Las Vegas. They desire to stop a select group of individuals who are criminally disposed and perhaps unbalanced from buying, possessing and using firearms to murder and maim. On its face, it is an understandable desire. Certainly, no one who legally owns a firearm wants to see anyone murdered, let alone children.

As expected, Hunter Biden plead “not guilty” Tuesday morning to three federal felony charges relating to his purchase of a firearm at a time when he admitted to smoking crack cocaine “every fifteen minutes”. Today’s hearing lacked the drama and intrigue of his first hearing on the charges, when a plea bargain worked out by his attorneys and prosecutor David Weiss fell apart after the U.S. District Judge assigned to the case objected to its terms.

To say U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) has been a thorn in the side of the firearm industry would be an understatement. The gun-controlling politician has railed for stricter gun control, called for bans on entire classes of firearms, taken money from gun control groups to advance a gun ban agenda and has done all he could to undo the export reforms for the firearm industry to reduce redundancies and regulatory costs associated with export licensing, while increasing national security.
