"A pregnant woman was accidentally shot and killed Friday by her husband, a Pennsylvania State Trooper who was cleaning his gun."
This tragedy was easily avoidable. We read the article, and there is some nonsense about the gun not belonging to the Trooper. Does the fact he may have been less than familiar with that handgun excuse him, or for that matter, any of US, from being doubly certain the gun was cleared properly? The short answer is no, it does not, and it puts lie to the idea that 'only cops should have guns'."
