United States – -(AmmoLand.com)- If there is one thing we all understand as Second Amendment supporters, it’s the need to fight – even when we disagree on the methods. But we can’t just fight harder when confronted with threats, we have to fight smarter than we have over the years. This applies across the entire Second Amendment community.

Dem Debates Part I: Candidates' (Mis)Understanding of 2A Alarming :: 06/28/2019
Round One of the first Democrat candidates’ debates is history, and if there is one thing upon which grassroots gun rights activists seem to agree, it’s that none of the people on that Miami stage Wednesday evening has even a remote grasp of the Second Amendment, and what separates constitutionally-enumerated rights from government-regulated privileges.

At the beginning of last night's presidential debate, moderator Chuck Todd noted that even if Congress enacts a new federal ban on so-called assault weapons, which all of the Democratic presidential contenders seem to favor, "there will still be hundreds of millions of guns in this country." He asked the 10 candidates on the stage what, if anything, the federal government should do about that inconvenient fact. Their responses revealed that none of them has a satisfying, or even superficially plausible, answer to that question.
Warren Tries To Categorize Gun Owners, Fails Miserably :: 06/28/2019
Recently, I commented that Elizabeth Warren is the Democratic candidate who is being among the smartest in the primary field right now when it comes to guns. As her opponents shift more and more to the left in an attempt to appease the base, Warren is taking a position that’s likely to garner more support among the center, which is where elections are won and lost.

The New York Times recently asked 21 Democratic presidential contenders a question about firearms, and none of them advocated gun control. Do We Want Fewer Firearms Accidents in the USA. . . .or More? :: 06/27/2019
I want to make us safer and we might have more firearms accidents than we have today. I put that shocking statement in front of you rather than stand accused of it later. You might think that fewer guns would make us safer. The more I learn, the more I doubt that approach.
The left, and their race to the bottom :: 06/27/2019
Not so many years ago, you could pick up a tabloid at the grocery store and read about how big foot is my babies daddy and know it was all made up. Politicians were idiots, but you could at least tell the difference between that idiot, and satire.
The Second Amendment v. NRA Fratricidal Fire :: 06/27/2019
When I was 19, during the summer between my freshman and sophomore years, I graduated from a state police academy, which provided certification to work as a uniformed patrolman while completing my undergraduate degree. I was old enough to carry a sidearm as a police officer, but too young to purchase a handgun for academy training, so a department head purchased the gun for me to use for qualifications. These were the days just before semi-auto pistols became the standard sidearm, and my supervisor suggested a Colt revolver — a .357 Magnum Python with a four-inch barrel. It was my first sidearm, and I still have it.
