Federal Court Decision: Parts of Hawaii Gun Registration Law are Unconstitutional :: 08/31/2021

Federal District Court Rules Two Hawaii Gun Control Laws Violate the Second Amendment :: 08/17/2021

When you think ‘gun control,’ the states that immediately come to most people’s minds are California, New York, New Jersey and a few other usual suspects. But Hawaii takes a back seat to no one in its zeal to keep its citizens disarmed (see, for example, the state’s virtual ban on carrying guns outside the home). But yesterday, a US District Court judge struck down two laws that are clearly intended to limit or outright discourage individuals from buying and owning firearms.

Third Circuit Delivers Win For Second Amendment In Gun Range Case :: 08/17/2021

A Pennsylvania town’s restrictive rules for gun ranges can face a Second Amendment challenge, thanks to a unanimous decision by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals handed down on Tuesday. The case, known as Drummond v. ATF Sued By Trigger Manufacturer :: 08/15/2021

One of the biggest concerns for gun owners with the current administration is that Joe Biden will try to use the regulatory powers of the executive branch to impose new restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms since he can’t get his gun ban plan through Congress. We’re already witnessing the a couple of attempts to do so with the proposed rules regarding unfinished frames and receivers and pistol braces that are still open for public comment, but a new lawsuit filed by Rare Breed Triggers is another example of how the agency can abuse its regulatory authority and cause big problems for companies that are trying to do the right thing.

We live in a litigious society. People will sue at the drop of a hat for some idiotic reason. However, in the gun world, lawsuits happen for two reasons. One is that there was a legitimate fault in a gun that caused injury. We all get those lawsuits. US District Court in CT: Gun Permit not Valid Cause for Arrest and Search :: 08/13/2021

U.S.A.-(AmmoLand.com)- On 12 November 2018, at about 8:34 pm, Basel Soukaneh was driving in Waterbury, Connecticut. He was not familiar with the area and was attempting to find a house he was considering purchasing. The GPS on his cellphone had frozen. The cell phone was on a holder on the dash, so he pulled over to adjust it. Shortly after he pulled over, with the engine running, an officer knocked on his window and demanded his license.  The interior lights on the vehicle were turned on.
