How The ATF Manufactures Felons :: 11/09/2020
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, usually just called the ATF, isn’t a popular agency in gun circles. Then again, no regulatory body is particularly popular with those it regulates. However, with the ATF, it’s different. Homebrew groups don’t have the animosity toward the ATF that gun owners do despite alcohol also being regulated by the agency, for example.
The Biggest Dangers from a Biden Presidency :: 11/09/2020
While there are still recounts and likely litigation to take place in several close states, there is a very real possibility that Joe Biden will get the necessary 270 electoral votes to take the Oval Office. With two Senate races in Georgia going to January runoffs, there is a chance for a pro-Second Amendment majority, but even then, there will be threats to our rights.

Federal law states that people can’t be sued for engaging in lawful trade of guns and ammo. Oh, if someone breaks the law or if the products are faulty, that’s different, but just for engaging in lawful trade? Nope.

Philadelphia burned for two nights. Around 30 officers were injured. People were furious at yet another black man being shot by police. A Democratic Revolt Brewing In The House? :: 11/05/2020
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi handily won re-election in her San Francisco congressional district this week, but she could find it much more of a challenge to hang on to her role as the top Democrat in the House of Representatives. There’s growing discontent from some House Democrats who believe Pelosi’s leadership (or lack thereof) is partly responsible for what is shaping up to be a disastrous election for the Democratic party in the House. As The Hill reports:

It’s that time in the election cycle when we all point fingers at each other for the lack of electoral success. For Democrats, that means complaining that Nancy Pelosi either wasn’t moderate enough or was too moderate for voters in her messaging. For Republicans, it means complaining that third-party voters wasted their votes on independent candidates or the Libertarian Party.

Poor Parenting A Bigger Issue Than Unlocked-Up Guns :: 11/03/2020
I’m a proponent of locking up your guns when they’re not in use. I really think a lot of problems can be avoided if firearms are secured, particularly with young children running around the house.
Safety Is Always One More Gun Law Down The Road :: 11/03/2020
S0-called “gun violence” is a problem. Let me be clear about it. Then again, any kind of violence is a problem. If you lose someone to violence, you’re not going to feel better because they were killed in an explosion or stabbed 43 times. The weapon used is far less important than the fact that someone you love was injured or killed.
