WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) – Authorities in Prince William County say no charges will be filed in the October stabbing of a Manassas man.
County police said Monday that after conferring with homicide investigators, Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul Ebert determined that the death of 48-year-old Stephen C. Brown was a case of self-defense.
Brown was found dead after officers were called to a home in the 12700 block of Lost Creek Ct in Manassas on Oct. 4.
Investigators say Brown was stabbed by a 25-year-old male family member following a domestic altercation
