The Santa Barbara murderer-a perspective you're not going to see on National TV :: 05/26/2014

"Sen. Richard Blumenthal said Sunday he would urge Senate leaders to reconsider tougher gun control and mental health measures in the wake of this weekend's deadly shootings near the University of California, Santa Barbara."

"Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) joined the charge of politicians calling for a review of gun control legislation on Sunday in the wake of a gunman's deadly rampage on the campus of University of California, Santa Barbara."
On the other hand, beyond these expected comments from the anti-gunners, and the anti-freedom crowd, consider these points:

"Four were killed, including the suspected killer, who authorities identified as an intensely disturbed22-year-old, Elliot Rodger." Wow, and this from typically anti-gun NBC? NBC goes on to say:
"Shifman, the family attorney, said Rodger was being treated by "several" medical professionals for a form of Asperger syndrome, a disorder on the autism spectrum."
While there has been no correlation shown between Asperger's and violence we can wonder what the "several" medical professionals treatment involved-psych meds? SSRI's? We're hopeful that the mental health aspect of this tragedy gets major attention.
