Institute for Legal, Legislative and Educational Action
We seldom take the opportunity to write original editorials as they are time consuming, and thereare so many wordsmiths out there who far exceed our ability. As we sit here salivating over the turkey and dressing and the bounty we will enjoy on Thursday, we thought we'd point out some things we have to be thankful for as 2013 comes to a close:
Our Chairman, Kim Stolfer, has made recovery from liver transplant surgery so miraculously quick, that they are re writing the books. By any estimate he should have been confined to quarters until late September or early October.
Our work with nascent pro gun groups is paying huge dividends. They have, in large part, turned to us for leadership and for guidance.
Our hard work has seen the reelection of Dr. Saccone.
Our response to Daryl Metcalfe's 2nd Amendment rally was, in a word, awesome.
Our new Facebook page, thanks in large part to the hard work and collaboration of just a few individuals, is a success.
Our forward looking position is positive, directed, and on target.
We're making inroads at gun clubs across the Commonwealth, convincing them that no matter what their perception is, they are a political force.
Small games of chance, a significant source of our revenue, has been passed finally, and is in our favor.
Our gun bash continues to be recognized as one of the finest in Western Pennsylvania.
We continue to fight for Freedom and responsible gun ownership, and have helped to turn back a number of State and Federal restrictions.
We could likely punch up those things we should be thankful for all night long, but by now you get the idea. We're strong, we're mobilized, we have the attention of our Legislature, and, by the grace of God, we will prevail on the backs of the hard working men and women who are Firearms Owners Against Crime.
