The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. when the homeowner called officials to report that he had been awoken to find a naked man in his home, according to a report. The intruder was described as a white man possibly in his twenties.

He told officials that he had shot at the suspect after the intruder tried to take his cat and that the bullet had grazed his arm.
