CHICAGO, ILLINOIS — In a typically tranquil neighborhood in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin area, an incident unfolded around noon on Monday, leaving a man in critical condition. The 35-year-old suspect supposedly trespassed into a residence, leading the 26-year-old homeowner to shoot him twice in self-defense.
