At approximately 8:13 p.m. on Feb. 3, Peachtree City Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the parking lot of Chick-fil-a at Kedron Village.
Witness accounts indicate that three black males wearing dark colored masks, armed with knives and possibly a firearm, confronted the victims as they exited their vehicle.
The suspects took merchandise from the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene in a silver four-door passenger car.
One of the victims discharged a firearm at the suspects’ vehicle during the exchange.
So far, the investigation has determined that this incident was a targeted robbery, and not a random act. It is believed that the victims were followed from a location outside of Fayette County.
