Former Glock sales manager sentenced in Kansas for bribery :: 11/11/2015

TOPEKA – A former sales manager for the company that makes Glock firearms has been sentenced to 1 1/2 years in prison for bribery.

The office of the U.S. Attorney for Kansas says James Craig Dutton, 44, of Acworth, Georgia, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud Glock.

The office says Dutton, who was an assistant national sales manager for Glock, accepted bribes and kickbacks from an Olathe gun dealer, OMB Guns.

Dutton was sentenced Monday.

Co-defendant John Sullivan Ralph, III, was sentenced earlier to 18 months after pleading to conspiracy.

Ralph owned Global Guns & Hunting, Inc., which did business as OMB Guns.

The prosecutor’s office says Ralph admitted paying about $900,000 to Glock employees in exchange for preferential treatment.
