COLORADO SPRINGS - Officers arrested a man who was aggressively panhandling and had a gun pulled on him, according to Colorado Springs Police.
Police were called the Kum and Go convenience store at Fillmore and N. El Paso at 7:30 on Thursday morning after reports of a man with a gun.
Charles Slabaugh, 52, allegedly started getting aggressive while panhandling in the parking lot. According to police, when a customer tried to leave, Slabaugh started pounding on the customer's car windows. Police say the victim displayed a handgun in self-defense and left the scene.
