The article is fairly easy to comprehend. Signs don't stop bad guys and they are never thick enough to deflect a bullet. It did however, generate some interesting conversation with a local radio talk show "personality". Here are a few excerpts from Marty Griffin's goofy point of view:
FOAC to Griffin via e-mail-"Hey how is that no weapons sign working out?"
FOAC-"Not necessarily. Most times when crooks are confronted they submit and are detained for law enforcement. You would know this if you checked statistics"
Griffin-"yeah yeah yeah"
FOAC-"Your answer reflects your comprehension and ability. The word is YES not Yeah
Griffin-"tell it at the gun range"
FOAC-"Better yet Marty.Just for you I will publish it in the newsletters", and true to our word, we submit it to you for your thoughts. Hopefully, you'll have a better answer than the dismissive "yeah-yeah-yeah".
